Caltrans, which has been trying to repair the bridge for almost a week now, soon may have a temporary solution, according to agency spokesman Dennis Keaton. Crews will manually raise and test the bridge from 7 p.m. today to 5 a.m. Friday, and motorists are advised to take the ferry or alternate routes between Sacramento and Solano counties. For detours to and from Sacramento County, motorists can take State Route 113 or Interstate 80. For other detours, Caltrans suggests using state routes 12, 4 and 160 along with segments of I-80 and I-680.
